The USHSPA will conduct low-cost coaching workshops across the U.S. for high school pickleball coaches.
The workshop will cover:
- Intro to teaching sports skills
- Intro to coaching teens
- Rules and sportsmanship review
- Planning a season
- Model practice
- The Game-Based teaching method
- Many kids/few courts/one coach
- Drills
- Pre- and post-practice warmup and conditioning
- Teaching strokes
- Basic singles strategy
- Basic doubles strategy
- State pickleball association formation meeting (if desired)*
